Global Business Leadership
with E. S. Wibbeke

When: Thursday, October 16, 2014

Global intercultural leadership guru E.S. Wibbeke will discuss the second edition of her bestselling textbook, Global Business Leadership, which has been updated with a synopsis of the latest changes in the fields of intercultural communication and leadership development. Included are new benchmark interviews from some the world's foremost companies, a wealth of proven guidelines, tools, and models, including Wibbeke's own Geoleadership Model, and two new chapters focusing on the influence of gender and technology on culture and leadership.

While emphasizing practical examples of individuals and organizations and updated research, Wibbeke's core concept of 'geoleadership' speaks to the various business industries including finance, healthcare, and manufacturing. With contributions and endorsements from some of the most important thought leaders in leadership development and intercultural communication, this edition offers a resource for designing, delivering, and evaluating successful leadership theories and practices to both students and practitioners.

Join the ILA in this webinar and learn more about geoleadership, how to become a geoleader, and the difference between 'regular' and 'geoleadership'. You'll explore, with the author, quantitative and qualitative data that supports the research forming the Geoleadership Model and it's seven core competencies: Care, Communication, Consciousness, Contrast, Context, Change, and Capability.
