Do You Know Your Own Mind?

Take a tour of your own mind in this leadership perspectives webinar as presenter Syed Azamatullah leads you through the different mental functional systems that, like departments in an organization, work together towards personal goals. Explore deep seated, limbic, and cerebral functions as well as the chairperson, promoting inter-functional awareness and integration. Participants will be introduced to mindfulness and role-modelling (personifying) techniques that will enable them to become more fully aware of how their own mind is working moment to moment so they can adjust contributions from various mind functions to meet emergent needs.

Speaker Biography

Syed Azmatullah has had a long-held interest in the nature of the mind and how it may be better understood. With a PhD in neuroscience research and over 25 years of corporate experience in the UK, Germany, and the US, he has extensive experience leading multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary project teams and management teams for organizational change and product development.  Syed also hold a Diploma in Executive Coaching and Organisational Development from the Grove, an Advanced Diploma in Personal Development from the Gestalt Centre in London, and is a member of the Association for Coaching. Currently he is deepening his understanding of the mind by studying mindfulness-based psychotherapeutic practice with the Karuna Institute in Devon. He has a broad range of clients from the private, public and charitable sectors offering coaching services via Kadak Consulting. His book, The Coach’s Mind Manual was published in 2014 by Routledge.
