"The ILA is the only organization that brings together
leaders from many sectors, scholars and educators from various disciplines, and
students of leadership to share knowledge and experience at the highest level"
-- Kim Campbell (R), Secretary General, the Club Madrid; Former Prime
Minister Canada

I am an enthusiastic member of ILA primarily because its
annual conferences are the most exciting and intellectually challenging meetings
I have ever attended. In addition, thru ILA we are all working together on
furthering crucial aspects of the developing field of leadership-- James
MacGregor Burns (center), Pulitzer-Prize winning biographer and author of
Leadership

I
enjoy being a member of ILA because it is both a professional organization and a
community of individuals committed to exploring effective leadership practices
and principles. It’s the place where I feel a part of, and interact, with
scholars, practitioners and learners of leadership.-- Glenda Wildschut (R), Past
Commissioner, South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission, Cape Town,
South Africa

Students from the University of the West Indies, Jamaica attend the ILA
conference

The ILA connects me to the best practices in leadership development and top
research on leadership theories, both of which are extremely useful in my daily
work. In a broader sense, the ILA also inspires me to take part in the
development of world class leaders.-- Maarten van Beek, Leadership and
Organisational Effectiveness Manager, Unilever

ILA is an investment that pays off in learning and professional relationships
that are unbeatable-- Dennis Roberts (R), Associate Vice President of Student
Affairs, Miami University

The ILA is one of the few places where serious leadership scholars can share
their research with each other-- Joanne Ciulla, Professor, Coston Family
Chair in Leadership and Ethics, Jepson School of Leadership Studies, University
of Richmond
