About ILA Membership

Annual Membership Dues

The membership structure strives to serve the needs of ILA's diverse constituencies while maintaining fairness and simplicity.

Individual dues are based on individual annual income. A generous discount is given to renewing members.

Group dues are based on the type of organization. Additional Associates enjoy a group discount; their dues are based on their annual income.

Students may enjoy special individual, renewal, and group associate rates.

1. To qualify for the Student Membership rate, proof of status is required.

2. Student members enjoying this discounted rate only receive e-benefits. Those wanting benefits distributed by mail should pass on the student discount and join using the regular dues levels.

3. To qualify for the Student Associate membership, your university or department must be a current group member of the ILA. When you submit the Group Associate membership form, your affiliation with a group membership will be verified prior to activating your membership.  This normally takes 24-48 hours.

1. Group Membership benefits extended to 4 people.

2. Groups requiring memberships for more than 4 people may add additional Group members using the Associate dues table above; dues are based on each associate's annual income.

3. When a Group Associate membership form is submitted, applicant's affiliation with the group membership will be verified prior to activating the Associate membership. This normally takes 24-48 hours.
