After 30 years, Oracle remains the gold standard for database technology and applications in enterprises throughout the world: The company is the world's leading supplier of software for information management, and the world's second largest independent software company. Oracle recently reoriented their business intelligence product suite, shifting their focus from offering a solution that works for Oracle-only environments towards offering a best-of-breed business intelligence product family that will work with heterogeneous information sources in an enterprise, both Oracle and non-Oracle. They introduced a new product family called Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition. This integrated suite includes Business Intelligence Tools, Oracle Business Intelligence Applications, and Oracle Data Integrator. Their acquisition of Hyperion, a leading provider of performance management software, in Spring 2007 extends their business intelligence product capabilities to offer the most comprehensive system for enterprise performance management. Hyperion provided best-in-class performance management software to over 12,000 customers worldwide, including 91 of the Fortune 100.  Learn more.

The Jepson School of Leadership Studies was founded to meet the aspirations of a liberal arts education. Kolbe Corp provides materials, insights, and experts to help people of all ages identify their instinctive talents, develop their confidence, and use their innate abilities to succeed in a plethora of situations, from getting through school to running a business.  Kathy Kolbe developed an instrument – the first ever devised – to measure the instinctive action and problem-solving styles of individuals. This dimension of the mind, called "conation," determines the way in which each individual might feel most comfortable and perform best in undertaking any action. She also wrote the best-seller, The Conative Connection. Armed with this unique tool, the company also developed a systematic approach to use the information it generates to improve business' bottom line. The system has been used by organizations such as Intel, Volkswagen, Honeywell, and other companies from the very small to the very large. The results have been impressive enough to garner attention from media outlets across the nation, including The Wall Street Journal, ABC Nightly News, USA Today, and CNN.  For the past decade, the company has set its sights on helping individuals of all ages overcome personal obstacles and achieve success in virtually any area of their lives. Their interactive website, which went live in 1997, gives individual consumers access to the same insights and strategies that have helped educators and businesses transform their operations.  Learn more.
