Our accelerated EdD program combines your passion for the Christian faith with the pursuit of academic excellence to deepen your understanding of biblical stewardship. In evening or online courses, you can balance theory with strategy and reflective practice, helping you refine your skills in leadership.

Institutional Mission: GCU prepares you to become a global citizen, critical thinker, effective communicator and responsible leader by providing an academically challenging, values-based curriculum from the context of our Christian heritage. Our curriculum is designed to prepare you with the skills and knowledge demanded in the contemporary job market. You are challenged to develop these tools and to push your intellectual limits in order to thrive in your career. In addition, our curriculum fosters personal discovery to help you realize within yourself the elements of compassion and accountability. A uniquely important element of the GCU mission statement is the defining attribute of our Christian heritage. The GCU community defines our culture by the way our members reflect a committed relationship with Christ. These normative Christian values are integral to the development, maturity and education of ethical and morally respectable citizens who continue on the path of lifelong learning. When you graduate from GCU, we expect you to take action as a global citizen, critical thinker, effective communicator and responsible leader.
