Institutional Mission: GCU prepares you to become a global citizen, critical thinker, effective communicator and responsible leader by providing an academically challenging, values-based curriculum from the context of our Christian heritage. Our curriculum is designed to prepare you with the skills and knowledge demanded in the contemporary job market. In addition, our curriculum fosters personal discovery to help you realize within yourself the elements of compassion and accountability. A uniquely important element of the GCU mission statement is the defining attribute of our Christian heritage. The GCU community defines our culture by the way our members reflect a committed relationship with Christ. These normative Christian values are integral to the development, maturity and education of ethical and morally respectable citizens who continue on the path of lifelong learning. When you graduate from GCU, we expect you to take action as a global citizen, critical thinker, effective communicator and responsible leader.
