Program Vision: The Master of Science in Leadership and Policy Studies (LPS) emphasizes field-based learning in public service to develop effective leaders in nonprofit and government professions.

Program Mission: Students will develop public policy and leadership skills in the community through the School of Public Service curriculum—every course in the degree program integrates field study.

Institutional Mission: Guided by the university's 2018 strategic plan and its mission statement, the Office of Mission and Values collaborates with university departments and constituencies in ways that measurably enhance their understanding and support of DePaul University's distinctive Catholic, Vincentian, and urban identity.
