Leadership Quarterly

Leadership Quarterly (LQ), a premier leadership journal published by Elsevier, officially affiliated with the International Leadership Association in January 2006. LQ brings together a focus on leadership for scholars, educators, consultants, practicing managers, and executives and administrators. It provides timely publication of leadership research and applications and has a global reach. It also focuses on yearly reviews of a broad range of leadership topics on a rotating basis and emphasizes cutting edge areas through special issues.
 

What does our affiliation mean to ILA members?

ILA members can access Leadership Quarterly online via Science Direct free of charge for the 2006 & 2007 calendar year. Beginning in 2007 ILA members will be given the opportunity to subscribe to the print journal for $40 a year, a substantial savings off of the non-ILA rate of $141. Furthermore, ILA members are encouraged to submit their work for publication in the journal. How do I Access My Free Online Subscription?

2. Download these instructions for accessing your online subscription (.pdf) and follow them.  They also contain contact information to directly contact Elsevier should you need further assistance.

3. Upon your initial access of Leadership Quarterly you will be asked to select a login and password.  On subsequent logins, you will only need to use this information, NOT your ILA membership number.

Please note: We send updates to Elsevier regarding member renewals and new members on a biweekly basis.  If you are a new or renewing member, and your membership number is not being recognized by the Science Direct login system, it may not have been added yet.  Please allow several weeks from your ILA renewal/join date for your LQ subscription to be processed.  Thank you!
