About Sebastian Salicru

I began my career as a psychologist in 1992 by working in the area of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). This work exposed me to large number of organizations across sectors and industries, as well as local, state and federal governments. Over the years, I progressively moved into Organizational Development, and in more recent years I narrowed my focus to Leadership Development.

While working for Accenture from 2012 to 2015, I had the privilege to travel globally and assisted some of the top Fortune 500 companies to bring floundering projects back on track, manage risk, reduce costs while increasing customer service and sales, and dramatically increase levels of performance and results. As a result, I worked in Australia, USA, Europe, UAE, China and Singapore. This enabled me to acquire a global mindset, and afforded me intercultural effectiveness by being able to relate to people from different cultural backgrounds.

I have authored one book, two book chapters, three journal articles, and dozens of expert commentaries on leadership in newspapers and magazines. I have also presented multiple leadership-related papers at conferences and industry events. As a member of ILA since 2014, I have attended three Global Conferences and have presented at the three of them. ×
