Intergroup Learning Community

The beauty of ILA is that there is also an intentional relationship among the various Global Learning Communities called the Inter-Group Learning Community. Now in development, the purpose of the IG-LC will be to convene representatives from the different Global Learning Communities to tackle issues and integrate their perspectives in practice. The IG-LC convener serves as a resource for the GLCs and is the GLC liaison to the board.

One of the most critical contemporary leadership issues is how to fuse theory and practice. The IG-LC concept is to foster communication and interaction across and throughout GLCs so that there is always an active interplay among our members. That is the real beauty of ILA - that all of us are interested in research, theory development, and the mutual benefit of theory and practice informing each other.
