All members of the MIG Team collaborate to meet the goals of the
MIG and the strategic initiative and mission of ILA. Further, the entire MIG
Team comprises the conference review committee, which coordinates the peer
review of conference proposals and final recommendations that are sent to the
ILA administrative team.

Chair – duties per ILA bylaws, plus coordination and
leadership of the MIG Team.

Chair-elect – duties per ILA bylaws.

Former chair – Consultancy and support of the MIG Team.
Specific activities, based on interest and experience, that forward the
goals of the MIG and the strategic goals of ILA.

Membership Lead/Team – This position focuses on identification and
recruitment of new members, as well as ensuring that the needs of all
constituencies within the MIG are understood and addressed by the MIG Team.
The person in this position is encouraged to form and work with an advisory
committee comprised of individuals representing the various constituencies
within the Leadership Education MIG, as well as work collaboratively with
the ILA Member Services Director. For the conference, this position recruits
and coordinates individuals to serve as information resource, greeter, host,
recruiter, and other activities to serve the needs of the members. Position
is appointed by the Chair for a one year term running from January through
December.

Resource Lead/Team – This position focuses on the acquisition and
dissemination of knowledge and information to the membership. Possible
activities include: working to develop a web presence with syllabi and other
resources, informing the membership of new trends in the field, writing for
the Member Connector, supporting the Learning Communities within the
Leadership Education MIG, and collaborating with other MIGs. For the
conference, this position assists in both collecting and disseminating
knowledge and information about the field. Position is appointed by the
Chair for a one year term running from January through December.

Conference Creative Lead/Team – This position focuses on the creation,
coordination, and execution of innovative sessions at the annual conference
that enhance the experience of Leadership Education MIG members. Each year
the Leadership Education MIG strives to emulate the creative nature of the
field by introducing unique pedagogy and content. Past examples include:
Great Ideas in Teaching Leadership workshop, Dissertation workshop,
Leadership Guidelines Learning Lab, Case Study competition, and Fishbowl
sessions. Position is appointed by the Chair for a one year term running
from January through December.
