The Business MIG allows individuals involved in leadership initiatives, research, and practice related to the business sector to share ideas, challenges, trends, questions, and/or experiences in this forum. Interest areas include, but are not limited to: international/global issues; talent development; ethics/social responsibility; spirituality; corporate culture/diversity; organizational effectiveness; strategy; virtual/team dynamics; corporate governance; entrepreneurship; industry-specific insights; transformational change; and/or, other emerging inter-disciplinary perspectives on business leadership.

Biographical Information
   

Arthur Jue

Arthur L. Jue is a Director of Global Organization and Talent Development for Oracle. He has extensive managerial experience in Fortune 100 companies, such as IBM and Hyperion. He also serves on the boards of directors for a number of financial services, educational, and non-profit organizations, including the Santa Clara County Council Boy Scouts of America, SJSU Business Alumni Association, and Meriwest Credit Union. Arthur holds a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership and an MBA with emphasis in Technology Management. He attended BYU and earned a B.S. in Marketing with a Music Minor from SJSU. Dr. Jue has also participated in executive programs at the London Business School, Harvard, and Oxford, and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Management, Spirituality, and Religion and is chair of the Academy of Management’s MSR Doctoral Consortium. Dr. Jue’s writing has been featured in publications such as the Journal of Applied Management and Entrepreneurship and by organizations such as the Association for Employment Practices and Principles. Recent works include a special edition of the Journal of Human Values (Sage, 2007), the 2008 Pfeiffer Annual: Management Development (Wiley, 2007), and Leadership Moments: Turning Points That Changed Lives and Organizations (Trafford, 2007). Arthur serves on the University of Phoenix faculty, has been a missionary in New Zealand, is an Eagle Scout, and enjoys playing the violin.

Pragnya Seth

Pragnya Seth heads People Leadership business for Satyam Computer Services Ltd, an India based global IT company, a global consulting and IT services firm offering a wide array of solutions, from strategy consulting right through to implementing IT solutions. She has 13 years of IT development and support experience. Over the last 4 years, Pragnya has done many Culture (Indian) Diversity sessions for clients around the world. A performing arts enthusiast, she enjoys watching and understanding different art forms when she travels.
