Dr. Ivana Mrozková, Lecturer at the Department
of Applied Linguistics at Palacky University, Olomouc, Czech
Republic, specializes in communication (PhDr. in linguistics)
and leadership. She is the founder and former executive
director of the Olomouc Summer Young Leaders Institute,
an international program for young leaders. She designs
and delivers leadership courses for university students.
In 2002 she was a Fulbright Scholar at the Burns Academy
of Leadership, University of Maryland, College Park, where
she started research on Leadership Communication, exploring
differences and similarities in communication patterns of
Czech and US community leaders. She also leads the Czech
part of the CCLIP Study Abroad Leadership Studies Program
of the University of Maryland.
