In addition to participating in some of our 400+ sessions, these Mindfulness Guides will be hosting special connection sessions each day of the conference.

Éliane Ubalijoro

Éliane Ubalijoro is the Deputy Executive Director for Programs at Global Open Data in Agriculture and Nutrition. She is a Professor of Practice at ISID at McGill University. In 2014, Éliane gave a TEDx talk on Reimaging the World from Scarcity to Prosperity. Éliane is a member of the Advisory Board of ShEquity. 

Susan Skjei

Susan Skjei is Director, Authentic Leadership Center, Naropa University, and a long-time Senior Teacher of meditation in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. She has been a Vice President and Chief Learning Officer in the technology sector and has taught mindfulness in business settings for over 20 years. 

Chellie Spiller

Chellie Spiller, hapū Matawhaiti Iwitea, Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairoa, is a professor at the University of Waikato Management School and co-author of Wayfinding Leadership: Ground-breaking Wisdom for Developing Leaders; Reflections on Authentic Leadership; and co-editor of Indigenous Spiritualties at Work.

Katherine Tyler Scott

Katherine Tyler Scott is Principal of Ki ThoughtBridge, a company specializing in an integrated adaptive approach to leadership development through change management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Previously, Katherine was President and CEO of Trustee Leadership Development a National Leadership Development Center and Director of the Lilly Endowment Leadership Development Program.

Angel Acosta

Angel Acosta is Director of the inaugural Garrison Institute Fellowship, a new initiative that welcomes eleven emerging contemplative leaders. As Director, Acosta mentors and collaborates with these innovative changemakers to initiate programming across intersections of the arts, contemplative practices, social justice and education.

Kathryn Goldman Schuyler

Kathryn Goldman Schuyler chairs the ILA 2020 conference and studies with masterful teachers of meditation including the Dalai Lama and Mingyur Rinpoche. Her research focuses on bringing moments of mindfulness and joy to work. In addition to her role as professor, she guides meditation sessions and teaches Awareness Through Movement.

Rhonda V. Magee

Rhonda V. Magee is a Professor of Law at the University of San Francisco and an internationally-recognized thought and practice leader focused on integrating mindfulness into organizations. She is the author of The Inner Work of Racial Justice: Healing Ourselves and Transforming Our Communities Through Mindfulness.

Cheryl Getz

Cheryl Getz is Associate Professor in the School of Leadership and Education Sciences at the University of San Diego. Her research interests include the application of group relations theory to higher education administration and student affairs, the development of inclusive and integrated leadership development, and strengthening cultural competence.

Erin Dixon

Erin Dixon, Ashati Sakahikan, is a member of the Métis Nation of Ontario. She is lead faculty at the Banff Centre for Arts and is currently doing research on wise practices within truth and reconciliation processes. Erin sits within the circle of directors for Feather Carriers Leadership for Life Promotion and the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention.
